My name is Christi Houghton and I have been the 8th grade Math teacher for the last 7 years. I teach both regular 8th grade math as well as Algebra I for the Advanced 8th grade math students. I am a graduate of Merkel High School and McMurry University. I taught at Hamlin High School for 2 years and Cooper High School for 11 years before returning home.

I try to make my class enjoyable for everyone and relate our lessons to real world situations. We will be getting ready for the TAKS test to be administered this spring.
