Starting with the 2009-10 school year, all 6th graders at Merkel Middle School are in band class. It has taken a while to get all the things nessessary to get them going, but the band directors report that things are going well now. There are some very pleasant sounds coming from the Band Hall these days! It's been a great opportunity for kids who might not ever considered band - and they're finding that they're good at it!.

ALSO: The Mighty Badger Band Booster Club is selling umbrellas. They are $20 and the supplies are limited. See Mrs. Campbell in the High School office. All proceeds from umbrella sales will go to the Middle School Band.
