Hello, Welcome to my 1st grade class. My name is Renee` Waggoner. This is my seventh year here at Tye Elementary. I graduated from McMurry University in May 2002. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Education Administration at GCU online. I will complete my degree in August 2009. I was raised in big Clyde, America. I am married to the most wonderful man and we have four beautiful children. I have always enjoyed young children and the elderly. I want to spend my life serving the youth of tomorrow by being a good role model, a teacher and mentor.
Teaching first grade has been a very rewarding experience. The children begin the school year knowing their letter sounds and recoginizing them in print. They then begin the journey of learning how to apply that information in reading and writing. This is not always easily accomplished, for this is just simply laying the ground work for a life long adventure in which will be different for each child. I look forward to playing a role in each child's adventure.

enjoy learning new information, sharing their lives with others and becoming more socially diversed. We share stories about our families, our experiences, our good days and bad. We love to have fun. We dance and sing and laugh a lot!
